Mobilizing Program Check-in with Altru
A few years ago, I attended the wedding of some college friends outside of Atlanta. The reception was on a beautiful plantation in a large, renovated barn. This wasn’t your uncle’s red-barn-out-in-a-pasture. Picture the farm equivalent of a deluxe renovated downtown loft. As we walked to the entrance, it appeared we might have to spend a little more time enjoying the plantation views before we got inside. The receiving line had formed and was spilling out onto the patio. It had to be 90 degrees out, and wouldn’t you know it, the thunder clouds loomed overhead!
Do your programs ever look like this? It’s such a joy to greet your patrons as they check in to a class or have a moment with campers while checking in for a summer program, but this often leads to a few toe-tappers waiting to get to the good stuff! Have no fear, Altru mobile check-in is here!
Here’s How
Grab your smart phone or tablet and click the Mobile Check-In link on the Altru landing page. The feature is currently enabled for the Guest Services Manager role, but other roles will be coming in the May release.
Click the Registrant Check In link, and you’ll see a list of your upcoming Scheduled Programs that require registration. Choose the appropriate program, and you’ll find a list of attendees to begin checking in. Now you won’t be left wondering who has arrived or finding yourself doing headcounts over and over. They’re all here, so go get the party started!
This feature is web-based, so it will work on most mobile devices or desktops through your traditional browser. No app required!
