New Google Analytics Available to Everyone

Google has recently announced that they have a new version of their analytics platform available to all users. Visit the Google Analytics blog to review all the details on the new platform.

If you are using Google Analytics with Blackbaud NetCommunity, ensure your tracking code listed under Administration -> Sites & Settings (6.10 clients – Administration -> System Options) is up to date.

Will there be a change in where the Google Analytics code is placed in the code? Currently, it’s placed at the end of the code right before the closing body tag. The ideal place would be right before the closing head tag (with the use of the asynchronous Google Analytics code). This would also allow for Google site verification for the purpose of Google Custom Search Engines, etc.
