Know Your Knowledgebase!
Chances are, you have stumbled upon a new feature or have a general Sphere question. Before clicking that submit button on your next ticket to support or calling in, I would like to show you some resources that will more than likely get your question answered quickly!
Knowledgebase
Did you know that every solution to a pre-existing problem is logged by Blackbaud? We keep them forever! Chances are, if you are having problems using Sphere or don’t know how to do something, there has been another client in the same boat as you. Try asking your question in Knowledgebase.
Just ask your question on the right side of the page:
“How do I find the average donation in a thon event?” will show you results for similar solutions. For this particular case, it will take you to
How to Get the Average Donation in a Thon Event.
Try asking your own question!
Another great resource is located at the tips of your fingers. Once you log into sphere, you will see two links in the upper right corner: “Help” and “Training & Support.”
Help
This section will provide instructions on how to use the various tools available to you in Sphere as well as a general overview of each section. Everything from Advocacy and Friends Asking Friends is available here.
Training & Support
In the Training and Support section you will find various tools for getting you training in any area of Sphere. It also provides many online support resources available to you (some already mentioned in this blog) including our online chat support and monthly workshops. Take advantage of our self-paced training which presents walkthrough videos and how-to guides.
Stay tuned, Spheronians, for my guide on advanced Knowledgebase searching.
