2011 Oregon State Tax Changes
The Financial Edge has released Patch 21, which contains changes made to accommodate the new Oregon State Tax brackets that went into effect on January first of this year. There are three important processes that will need to be completed on the user’s end of the program.
1. Update to patch 21.
2. Please create a new State tax table for Oregon with an Effective date of 04/01/11.
3. You will need to go through all active employees and set the proper tax settings prior to making any new calculations.
Once you have completed these steps you are fine to continue with calculating your payroll with the new Oregon State tax formulas.
